Upstate New York, any places to explore?

Forum Goer's,

First off, forgive me if this is the wrong place to set this thread up.

Second, I am about to take a month of leave, and experience some much needed time away from the Marine Corps. I will be with my wife, visiting her family in Upstate New York, Ithaca/Auburn region. I was wondering if any of you knew any sweet locations we could go and check out while we're out there.

I promise to submit pictures and tag those who gave me the advice!
