Finally got my Ham Technician license, updated my profile.

Working on getting the faceplates for my Ham and GMRS radios mounted on a Lido L-Max bracket.

Decided both radios would be powered off my 100ah LiFePO4 off grid battery.

Can't wait to actually use it when I'm on my next trip. :)

Finally got the right pieces to mount both faceplates. Lido L-Max bracket is very sturdy.

I plan to move the two radio bodies to one of my Goose Gear cubby holes.

I'll also run the power cables to my LiFePO4 power kit, I'll just need to buy a couple 15a fuses.

I'll keep the passenger side radio mount (to the right of the shifter) for a CB that I plan to buy (don't laugh, EJS still requires CB!).

I have a couple trips lined up for September, I should be fully prepared for any comms I may need. :)

My Yaesu supports APRS, but not quite there yet, these old eyes have lots to read! :)

Thought I'd post that I relocated the body of both radios under the driver's seat in my four door Jeep.

So the platform is half under the driver's seat, and half under the area where the driver's side passenger's feet would be, if I had back seats. I don't, since I have a full Goose Gear plate.
