Hey gang,
Just wanted to drop a note about the upcoming trip to pick up the new Series 3 and drive it back from TX to CT. More road trip than overland, but I think it’s gonna be fun, and hopefully provide an opportunity for meeting some of you along the way!
We’ll be flying down to Dallas on the morning of 9/9, doing paperwork and loading out the truck, then heading out late afternoon for the first leg from Rowlett to Texarkana along US 68. Monday morning we’ll be striking out for Little Rock, with a planned lunch stop at Rovahfarm to meet up with Trevor White, and pick up some parts while we’re there, and then on to Hurricane Mills just west of Nashville.
From there, the general plan is to pick our way northeast through Kentucky, brushing through Athens, Ohio, then on into MD, PA, NY, and finally back into CT on Thursday.
Along the way, we’ll be documenting the trip for a feature article in an upcoming issue of Rovers Magazine. So, if there are any of you out there along our route, give a shout or just keep an eye out. We’d love to meet you along our way, and we shouldn’t be hard to spot!
