US Southwest Upcoming Mojave Road Trip, January 24th - 27th

Looking to put together a Mojave road trip. My current plan is to leave San Diego the evening of the 24th and camp at the trail head on the Barstow side that night. Then drive home Sunday from Needles NV.

I've done the trail before, and I've got one more rig including mine that's planning on going with me but we'd welcome more!!!

January is chilly, but probably not too crowded. Be aware of the recent rains and the likelihood that Soda Dry Lake will not be dry!
That mud is not forgiving at all, but there's a good drive-around if it's impassible.

You probably know all this stuff because you've been, but it bares repeating.
