I had a 7 hour delay on my flight last night, so I decided to map a 3 day trip in Northern Colorado. I have all the directions and road names and such, but I was wondering if anyone could follow my directions on the map Overland Bound provides to members and see if I wrote it out in a very simple and easy to understand way. The directions will be posted below. The trip starts from Fort Collins, CO. So if anyone is familiar with the area, please let me know what your thoughts are.

I'm not familiar with that area, but I'd thought I'd try using your directions as an exercise in building a route map. Does this look about right? https://caltopo.com/m/FF23
Having it mapped might make it easier for others to give feedback.

This was exactly what I was hoping for somebody to do. I didn't know how to use any of the free mapping software out there so I am glad someone was able to figure this out!

You can take Dead Man down to the Laramie river to the west. Then head south to the top of Cameron Pass. Head west to Gould and then head west over to Rand. From there you could go across to Buffalo Pass and over the top down into Steamboat Springs, then north up to Hog Park reservoir and on to Pearl, to Cowdry, to the North Park Sand Hills. The list goes on and on.
