1st time poster, long time lurker. I have been reading everyone's impressive build posts.

Traded in my pick up for a Jeep. Love the Jeep--but looking for a utility trailer to essentially replace the cargo hauling capability of my truck.

I do not have any welding knowledge.

Came across the trailgater and it seems to tick off the boxes of what I am looking for. Did not see many recent reviews.

Anybody have one?

(Sorry, unable to link due to my FNG status)

Sold out of bear trailersports

The Trailgator is a design build by a So Cal trailerbuilder Bear Trailersports. It has been tested to the extreme behind a Jeep Rubicon, we towed the trailer over rocks bigger than the Jeep. She performed flawlessly. She has a carrying capacity of about 2500 pounds of gear, fuel ice chest, and if you’re looking at the extended deck she will carry a Side by Side, Choice of hitches are available from ball and tongue to lock n roll, an excellent buy

Thx for info.

Reg inside width of 48.5 will be fine.

Prob add tailgate, spare vs matching wheels TBD

Looks like shipping from Bear to me may price me out. I'm generally a buy once, cry once, type of guy, but I am looking into a local trailer guy to build me something similar.
