Trail Maint Idea

While at the OB rally West last weekend (OTG 2018), a few of us was talking and the idea came up that it would be really good (and get extra help maybe) if you combine a run and maint, say over a weekend, have a run on the trail, talk about the areas you intend to fix up and next day go out and do it......

Great idea, there are several meet-ups doing trail maintenance, anything from picking up trash to actually working with the local and federal agencies to help.
Our group the Sierra Foothills Overlanders meet-up has adopted a trail in the El Dorado NF and if you are interested in this I can help you get started. But it doesn't need to be that formal, just going out and cleaning up is a huge deal.
