I will start off with this:

Day 1:

I met up with Mr. Reno and his lovely wife in Manteca, CA. His FZJ80 blew a head gasket so he had to bring his Jeep instead.

We spent the night in Big Bend of Colorado state rec per the recommendation of Robert.

Met up at the Smiths and then air'd down by the river.

Petroglyph stop

Stopped to pay the toll.
A pic of a selfie of a selfie.

Approaching our camp site in New York

Good times.

Day 2:

Made myself a delicious steak and egg burrito

And the Tundra was the only rig here not to lift a tire. Open C frame flex ;)

COWS

Kelso dunes in the distance

Last stop, the Margarita bar with Bartender Reno.

Day 3:

Lovely camp site and mountains to help block the massive winds we had the night before

Next stop was the mailbox. Our autographed Tundra was king of the hill on the steep side of the monument.

Happy to see my frog from last year is still there

Next stop, the lava tubes

Picking up our rocks before we cross Soda Lake

And the worst part of the trip is parting our ways from each other and from the awesome Mojave trip.

The Mojave Trail is always a fun trip but, it can be made awesome by those whom you do the trail with. Thank you to all those from the Toyota120 crew for inviting me to enjoy this great expedition. My only regret was that the trail was not longer.
