Heading down from SLC/Park City Utah and thinking about hitting SW Utah over the three day weekend. Want to take a bunch of pix and unwind. Want to explore this corner of the US since it is one of the few areas I haven't visited much other than to blast through on the Interstate.

Anybody want to do a low key couple of days or have ideas on neat places to visit in this neck of the woods.

You could try Pine Lake off of Johns Valley road - north of Tropic. For a more remote spot there is Posey Lake on the Aquarious Plateau above Escalante. Also there is nearly unlimited off grid camping on the plateau. I'm not sure what the snow situation is up there so it is best to check before heading up. Make sure that you are fueled up before going atop the mountain - it's a big place. Lots of small lakes, deep forests and open space at approx. 10,000 ft elevation. It's one of the highest timbered plateaus in the world.
