Has anyone heard of or has used dynamic balancing on 4wd vehicles. Curious as to anyone's experience in using this method.

Balancing tires on the vehicle has been around for a while. It's as good as any other balancing method if done correctly. You'll need to match mark your wheels on the vehicles hub, if the wheels are moved, the balance may not be true. I've been using balance beads with good success. Depending on your tire size normal balancing maybe the easiest. Ron

Thanks for the info. It has been on my radar for awhile and I've never had anyone to ask about it. I'm kinda old school 33s worked 25 years ago and they continue to work today for me. I haven't had any problems balancing them in the past but i know technology changes and if the beads would give a significant difference i would consider switching balancing methods. Plus if it sounds like its raining when i stop that would be cool. Lol

I've ran many sets of 33's, with no problems. I just decided to build a jeep on 35's. The next time I balance my tires I going to balance the wheels, then add the beads for the tire size. Just to see if there's a difference. I like the beads because they balance out even with mud on the wheels. I spent a few years in Pascagoula ,MS, one thing I learned. Beware of red clay with standing water on top, it'll swallow 38's with no problem. Ron
