Hopefully the build ends and the adventure doesn't. I still have the old Silva compass my parents gave me when I was a little kid. When we had our son I really wanted to instill that same joy for adventure. We set out to build this rig to get far out into the wild on solo trips while still being relatively comfortable with an infant. The first few times were pretty rough but at two years old, its starting to get a little easier. So far, with the exception of many alignments, I've done all the work myself. Lots of blood and sweat but its paying off.
