The Essential Guide to Overland Travel in the US & Canada ; by TeriAnn Wakeman , was recommended by a couple of members. I’m about halfway through, and although dated a bit as far as communications, ( Star Link & Apple have changed all that) this book is a bounty of information, for short and long term travelers alike.
