Struggling with the Map Section on the overland app

I’m having trouble figuring out how to create a point/location/favorite spot on the Overland App map feature. I realize I just need to be 10% smarter than the thing I’m working with... anyone out there willing to walk me through this?... or is this just not an available option yet on the app?

Look for a big plus sign in an orange circle on the OB1 app’s map page (bottom right). Poking this will allow you to enter a new point. Of course this probably does not apply if you are using different map software. ;)
