I am going to be spending about 2 weeks in this area posted. Any suggestions on what you would consider must see? My wife wants to go to the North Rim area, so I know we will be there.

Mid May and I just read North Rim, will not be open until June this year, which stinks, but we are flexible.

Most of the amazing off-road tracks of the San Juan mountains will still be closed that early in the season too. It would be a good time of year for Utah such as Moab and the Canyonlands area.

San Rafael Swell, Capitol Reef National Park, Escalante Nat'l Monument, Bryce Canyon Nat'l Park, Lake Powell, Goblin Valley State Park, Buckhorn Wash, Wedge Overlook, Moab (lots of things).....and many, many points in between those locations. Excellent time of year for the lower parts of Utah, not too hot just yet. You'll want to be careful with any stream/water crossings as the snowmelt from up high and from Colorado will be big this year.

Hello Brian, if you want pics, Horseshoe Bend near Page Az, also the upper and lower Antelope canyons are stunning. The Vermillion cliffs area is very nice, if you can swing it, try to get permits to hike out to the ”Wave” look online at these sites and you will see why I say they are all must see locations in Az. If. You have never been to Zion Nat. Park and Bryce Canyon Nat. Park they are also must see sites. That area is fantastic and I believe you will find two weeks in just not enough time.
Great information. Looks like plenty to do in UT and AZ. I know my wife wants to go to Durango and Mesa Verde in CO.

I don’t know much about NM, however in Durango if you don’t go here you will miss out on what I feel is the best thing about Durango.

Depending on your Vehicle I could take you to a few Places around Blandon that our Very cool, especially if you like Mesa Verde
Thanks so much for the offer but this trip I am taking my Subaru Outback, so just gravel roads this time. I may have to reach out next year when I get my new truck.
There is a Few Places I could get a Subuaru, the coolest you need a High clearance 4 wheel drive, Be narrow for most full size trucks
