Has anyone mounted a flexible solar panel on top of a hard shell RTT? I wouldn't want to drill, but I'd think an epoxy or maybe even Velcro would work?

I would wonder if epoxy would crack? The roof on my autohome airtop is a little flexible. I have used some crazy strong Velcro that would stay together for that type of thing, but I would also be skeptical of the adhesive on the Velcro staying put in hot temps. Maybe 2 screws in the front corners and Velcro the rest? Or get a sheet of plastic like shower surround and do a Velcro test run for awhile before you risk losing your expensive solar panel.
I've seen many RVers use just 3M VHB tape and Dicor over top of the entire "foot". I purchased my JB Explorer model based on the recessed area in the top with the intention to eventually mount a solar panel exactly this way, but I have not done it yet and not sure if I ever actually will.
