We just finished a 12 mite (20 km) return trip (so double the distance) down the Ruby Falls trail to Ruby Falls in Alberta. There were some 40 river crossings, most of them nothing to speak of, but some of them were challenging. The trail is rated a three in the summer and a six in the winter. It is mostly a rock garden trail and river crossings up the Ruby River till you get to the falls. Here are some pictures and videos:

The Ruby Falls trail seems challenging with all those river crossings, especially in winter.
