US Southwest Route along south rim of Grand Canyon into ranch land along old telegraph lines

I found a route once that went along the south rim of the grand canyon. After that it entered ranch land and went on into California along an old route that still had remnants of the old telegraph line.

I thought I had the link saved but if I did It must have been one of my many dead links because I can't find it.

Does anyone know what route I'm talking about?
