A relaxing drive through the Texas Hill Country with a stop for lunch at Cooper's BBQ in Mason and a drive across the James River.

Happy April. Hill Country trip is Apr 11.

Since Rally Points are currently still app only, going to post the details here for this coming Saturday in case you need to share with others.

  • Meetup is at Marble Falls HEB parking lot near the gas station at 0900
  • For anyone leaving near Georgetown and want to convoy there, I will be at the Academy Sports on Hiway 29 at 0730, and leaving around 0800
  • For those camping at Oxford Ranch, the trip starts at CR 310 & Hiway 79. We can meet you there if you don't want to drive all the way to Marble Falls first
  • GMRS channel 15 as usual

Hoping to attend this year. What is the end point and what time would you predict reaching that point? Trying to understand if Inhave a conflict or not that evening.
This year, we're going to end at the James River crossing. Probably be there sometime around 4:00 - 5:00. This gives folks enough time to either make it back to camp or home before it's dark.
