Id ask Micheal 1st whats made out of or how it was made. if anything start with lite duty metal polish compound with mircofiber towel as buffer...if you get to like new i'd spray with Rustoleum with this 1 b/c non yellowing with UV protection

Yeah I figued that much when I got them in hand...That why sprayed them with clear. To prolong the etching and keep moister away from it.

Try rubbing ketchup on it for a few minutes and clean it up with a cloth. Magic will happen.

In the Marines we literally used hot sauce to polish brass pipes in the mess hall -- I was not a cook, just a poor sap assigned a month of mess duty on third shift.
