Hey All,

I just bought my Xterra from another member here who was a) great to work with, b) kept his car in beautiful shape, and c) still has his badges on.

I'll be joining the paid membership here, but want to be able to remove his badges and put mine on. Any tips on the removal without mucking up the paint job?

thanks in advance!

Warm them (sun, heat gun), cut the adhesive using fishing string as a saw. Sometimes the heating does the trick and you can pull them off. On emblems where I have issues with the adhesive sticking to the string, I'll put some light oil or silicone on the string. Clean the spot well if you use any kind of oil or silicone on the string.
