Watching you tube videos and reading. I’m overwhelmed by recovery equipment. I would like to get a warn winch but not sure what size I should get for a 2000 Jeep XJ. What else do I need. The list is long but not sure what I need to start off with.

Used to be I was told to aim for double the rig weight. I ran a warn 8k on my jk and it did fine even without a snatch block. Matter of fact I drug an xj all over hot springs off-road park with that winch lol

Thank you, Sounds like you enjoyed that. I’ve been watching videos and it’s amazing the vehicle isn’t in front of the other vehicle. They are winching at 90 degrees. I wish they had live classes near me.
