Interested to know how many of you are running rear mounted winches on your rigs?

I made one for my 80 series, and have used it for more recoverys than the front winch.

Mine is a bolt on solution based on the towbar, but would be keen to see how others have solved/ achieve this on there wagons.

What winch did you use? I have a spare 9k winch kicking around. I never thought of utilizing the space under there for that. Do you have the rear mounted fuel tank also?

I run a multi-mount and the vehicle is wired for front and rear.

My rig is also my tow rig so it’s only a 3500lb for pulling stranded vehicles onto car trailer

but have used it once for recovery with a pulley block

since I ran power to the rear I also put a Anderson plug for jumper cables

Mine’s removable. Haven’t used it on anything exciting but I’ve found that I use it more than when it was on the front of the jeep. Extracted an old buried lawn mower, fallen trees and pulling a few posts.
