Read Russia as Eastern Europe please

Please read the Region Russia in Europe as just Eastern Europe.
This contains.
Estland, Letland, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic, Slowakia, Hungary, Rumania, Bulgaria.

Russia will be a region of its own.

What about Turkey I have assumed it to be also Eastern Europe , I hope that is correct as geographically the western side of the bospheros is European continent, the eastern side or Anatolia Region is actually Asia

Well, politically is Turkey at this moment a problem. Why, well you can read all about it all over.
I wont give my opinion about it, as this is not the place for it.
But I think it wont be called a member of europe soon.

Anyway, It aint Europe, except for a part of Istanbul. This part is still on the european continent. (which is part of the Euro/Asian super continent)
And so Turkey is not Europe. However, it is part of the Euro/Asian continent. So opinions may vary.

Yes every group I am a member of struggles on how to place Turkey.
As for not joining the EU I agree I can't see it happening anytime soon. But if it did join how could the EU be the EU with an Asian country in it.
People with better qualifications than me I'm sure will discuss and hypothesize and still not come to a real agreement.
For me right now, I don't care which continent it is listed with.
We are loving it and would recommend it to anyone.
And based on politics who knows for how long it will be an option to visit when you I st have to glance over at Syria.

Oh by the way, I visit Turkey two times already.
Once backpacking and to Kusadasi and we had more fun exploring the inland as we were on the beach.
We did diving, driving scooters to Eger and inlands and had a Jeep safari. But I drove myself, paid for that extra, but I drove. It was fun.
