Was searching the web trying to find a way to get from Seattle to Boise on fire/dirt roads for a summer trip when I came across an app for Android called Postholer Trails + GPS. Has anyone ever used it? is it better, worse, or the same as GAIA?

I didn't know about this App, because I am an iPhone user. I'll have the wife download it to her table, which is a Samsung. We'll run it side-by-side with GAIA, which I have on the iPhone and on my laptop.
I can get you from outside Spokane to Boise, 95% on dirt, County, Forest Service, and/or Fire roads... What's bringing you to Boise? There's lot's to see in Eastern Wa. and Eastern Or., It's getting across the Snake that puts you back on pavement.
What time time are you looking at??? Snow and Ice at High Altitude could be an issue.

It will be a trip for the summer. I used to live in boise and visit frequently. I am wanting to make a week long trip. Might do the trans American trail through Oregon.
