So my wife, 2yr old, two dogs and I will be leaving June 2019 from Oregon on a year long trip across the North American Continent. We plan on heading up to Alaska first for the summer before working our way clockwise following the seasons. With dogs, a (then) two year old, and towing a teardrop we want to keep the overlanding spirit and have at least %50 of our travels be via FS Roads or just some dirt.

Currently planning the route to Alaska and want to hear from everyone what spots, routes, and landmarks we should look into! We’ll be at the NW overland rally and hope to see some of y’all there!

That’s fantastic! You guys are tough, doing it with a 2yo. Lifestyle Overland is doing something similar. I love seeing families go for it. I hope to meet you at NWOR.
