Overland Northern CA Coast, Oregon, and Whistler

Hello,
I'm not as familiar with this area and I'm looking for some advice on camping along the Northern CA and Oregon coast. We'll be along the coast north of San Fran all the way to Astoria.

If you're looking for dirt roads right on the coast, check out Usal Rd., otherwise called the "Lost Coast" area. Nothing too difficult but a really nice trail that lets you drive out onto the beach at times.

Thanks v_man! I'll check that out. I think we're going to go fast on the way up since we need to be somewhere and will try to stop somewhere near Crescent City. But on the way back take our time. Looks great!

On the way up or down run WABDR. Backroad route crossing Washington state north/south. Theres 6 legs (I think) of the trail,you can run portions if you're in a hurry.
