So we just installed the Ostrich Wing 270° awning which is the original 270 awning. This is the 4th generation of this awning and they keep improving. It’s enormous! 120 sqft. Biggest on the market. Closed it’s 8’5” long closed and deploys in under 30 secs. We previously had a strait out awning and you had to unroll it. Extend legs. Extend and attach side extending pols and it was only 6 x 8 feet. So in overland speak a hassle since we all want to Glamp as much as possible. Our awning mounts directly to the side of our new Penthouse XL tent from Big Country 4X4. We weren’t able to use the traditional roof rack mounts but these two products are manufactured by the same guys so they have a custom mounting solution direct to the tent. We have been to many expos and seen many 270’s but this one takes the cake for expedition grade equipment.
