My son and I went and drove Old NC 105 for the first time. It was an amazing trip that I would highly suggest for anyone but particularly for someone just getting started with Overlanding. There was many different locations to camp at and some with epic views. IMG_1320.JPG

With multiple trails to go drive and explore there is also many things to do. We walked the short trails to the Linville Falls and also done a 5 mile hike to the top of Table Rock.

In all a great three day trip. IMG_1338.JPG

After we saw the falls we took 183 to 181 to get to Table Rock. Through Jonas Ridge we got fuel at Mountain Crossing. Neat little store.

Awesome trip! Planning on heading to Boone in April. Would love to do this trip with the family. Any good spots to camp on 105?

Nice!! We are headed to Mount Pisgah end of next month to explore & camp for a week. Looking to get in some good off pavement side trips.
