Hi all, Just joined, had 4X4's for most of my life, just got me a new 4Runner Venture last summer so we are using it for starting out and about. But just got into overlanding in the last year or so. We have ATV's and a RZR which we used for most of the offroading. So technicaly we have been doing a different type of overlanding for decades all over the rocky mt west and rest of US. We are mid 60's and like going on the back roads and trails to relax and enjoy the scenery from the mountains in Colorado to the central desert of the San Rafael Swell or on the the West desert in Utah, no rock crawling , at least yet.

Thanks, I know where Silt is. We were over in Rifle and Meeker area in June for a week, had fun. Yea, for overlanding the Swell is incredible, just dont try it in summer.
