Advocate II
Hello everyone! I am a newbie to the forum and a newbie to overlanding. I am an avid backpacker, but due to a serious foot injury this year, I will not be able to do any serious backpacking for a while. I decided to pickup overlanding so that I am still able to get off the beaten path and do some camping and exploring. I am looking for suggestions for a good newbie trip in East TN or West NC. I plan to go mid November. My rig is still in the works. I have a stock 2010 Jeep JK. I currently have 33s on it, but no lift. I have a Smittybilt Overlander RTT. Thats about it.. Just the basics. I don't yet have a winch or a lot of the fancy stuff that I'm sure most of you have so I need something pretty simple for my first go round. Thanks in advance!
