I'm slowly building up my 4runner to be overland capable. Been camping for years but I've always users a full size pickup truck. Now i'm in a midsize SUV with 4 kids. Been planning on kitting out my Big Bubba's utility trailer to be a pull behind dual purpose base camp. I'm thinking roof top tent but I need to buy or fab some kind of rack for it. I've always kept camping really simple with ground tents and coolers but through my work I have access to some nice kit so I'm thinking I'll upgrade the experience. My back will appreciate it.
