I will be attending a swift water rescue class in Nantahala. I plan on camping a few days before the class starts. Does anybody know any nice camping areas at the national Forest that doesn't have a bunch of other people? I would also like to be near my rig.

I assume you are taking the class at the NOC outfitters at Wesser? When we go up that way to play on the Nantahala we usually stay at the Lost Mine Campground on Silvermine road in Wesser. Its about 1-2 miles from the NOC outfitters. It is a paid campground but not expensive. The lady that runs it keeps it in tip top shape and doesn't let any hoodlums in the campground.
