IMG_0247.JPG IMG_0249.JPG Hello everyone,
With my Jeep XJ down for the winter for repairs, I want to do some mods to my stock Yota. First is some normal maintenance, Oil change and license tabs. Next, the brakes need done. I have new rotors, pads for the brakes, plus all the little parts needed in the hubs for rebuild.

Next I have a new winch bumper being built. Then, hope to get a rear locker, as my Yota, was a unlocked from the factory. Looking at going with a Harrop. Also, will be removing the stock running boards, then putting on some rock sliders. Going to stay with the stock 31" tire size. The rest will be a sleeping platform, and simple lighting. For now that's about it. The picture is as it sits now. Benz.

I like that color combo.
Thank's Joey83,
It has been a great truck. It does have the clear coat peeling off the hood. Will be removing the running boards soon. Don't have much money to put into the Landcruiser, as my Jeep XJ is my main focus. But glad I have a plan B, that is a great truck too. Both are to nice to sit all winter! Benz.

Not much to report, but looking at lockers for the rear axle. Right now, I am thinking of going with a Yukon Grizzly locker. Not the best in some other trucks, but It will work fine in my 97' FZJ80. The reason, my yota is full time 4wd. That helps so you don't have the handling problems of an auto locking locker. The front wheels are pulling to, so that help with the locking and unlocking of the locker in the rear axle. First week in December, hope to work on brakes, fan belts, removing running boards and oil change. Then start driving it again, exploring and doing some local runs with our 4 wheel club, Trail Seekers! Benz.
