Here's an old one in my Jeep, you can see the water line on the door. This was uncomfortably deep for me without a raised intake. Measured it at 37" afterwards.

I was freaking out a little. It was a section of trail that's essentially a creek, which unexpectedly turned deep. I want to say the intake was on the passenger side so I hugged right, it was awhile back. Either way ya, bad situation.
