Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
In AZ., all lifted trucks are required to have mudflaps, yet SUV's do not. That doesn't make sense and the cops love to pull over pickup trucks to tell them about the law while handing you a ticket.
after searching, I have found several members who don't like them and several that do. I was thinking about getting some for my hoe, seeing that mine were removed sometime.why are so many being removed?
The Nissan flaps are a rigid plastic that tends too crack (if you are lucky) or damage the front fender (if you aren't). I prefer to have mud flaps to protect my paint from chips and keep debris from flinging onto the rig behind me or my trailer.
I've tried several times to make flexible mud flaps to fit my vehicle, they all either rub on the tires or get torn off within a few miles of off roading. I've given up and will simply run without mud flaps; I will just have to spray some bedliner on my lower panels to protect them from rock chips.
