Mounting a third party fridge slide to a Goose Gear plate

I have a fridge slide from DFG Offroad that I will be mounting to a Goose Gear plate system. I see two approaches - drill new holes through the Goose Gear plate and insert threaded T-Nuts to match the six holes already in the slide, or drill new holes through the DFG slide to use the existing threaded holes in the Goose Gear. Any recommendations?
