Was thinking about taking my girlfriend and our kids up MET to find some area for them to get off the road and play/sled in the snow for a couple hours. For those of you familiar with the Mormon Emigrant trail, does anyone know a good place to do that which may be just off the road and easy to get to? Maybe a side trail forest service road you can point out to head up to or post mile along MET that has a good family play spot?

I would just be looking to park along MET and let them play. Not looking to go off the road as seasonal closures are in effect (also hoping not to get stuck).

Any PM or response here is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Im sure you will find something do like i use to do sled down the middle of MET LOL.

Sent from my LGMS631 using OB Talk mobile app

LOL Now that is a good idea.....I think we may have to give that a try if the coast is clear enough. May wind up just going to the Echo lake sno-park cause my girlfriend may like having bathrooms available, but if it was me I am going to keep pushing to find a place up MET as I like to be away from the crowds.
