Mammoth MLK Weekend 1/13-1/16

Hi everyone,

I will be headed up to Mammoth Lakes this MLK Weekend with a stopover at Alabama Hills Friday Night.

Are there any spots that you recommend to see along the way? Maybe some good campsite recommendations for Alabama Hills? Ive only been to Alabama Hills once and did some BLM camping. Also any trails that I can possibly access with the Snowfall they received lately.

Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!!

I highly recommend checking out the hotsprings 15 min out of Mammoth, there is a couple of them, just make sure you snow chains if not also snow tires (mud terrains are terrible in the snow)

Sounds good, I'll look into them. I'm on BFG KO2s and I'm bringing chains with me as well
