Looking to build an overland hunt truck out of a 2012 silverado

Hey guys new to all this and im looking for some tips on making my 2012 silverado into the ultimate hunt/overland rig. I would imagine someone on here has done something similar and can advise on how to go about it. I know a lift, tires, gearing, lighting, and possibly some body armor are gonna be alot of the suggestions but im sure there are certain things to look out for that im not aware of yet. So what ever info y'all have i would greatly appreciate!
