From the SW Missouri area, I’ve got a few trails I run at glade top south of Ava MO.
Was wondering if anyone had some good trails for weekend trips around the buffalo or ozark national forest.

The Trans America trail (TAT) runs through there. Check it out online.... Real good places around Haw creek falls area...

The whole area around Haw creek falls and the Huricane creek wilderness area is some of the most beautiful you will find in Arkansas.

try this link. we were up around jasper a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it. there is a lot of hiking and most of what we saw was accessible from main roads or very well maintained dirt roads. i saw a lot of purple paint on trees so that means a lot of the area is private...we saw a good bit of dirt roads, but they were marked private as well.
