Looking for a 1 week or less route similar to KAT or UP routes. More adventurous then TWAT. Prefer close to Midwest (Iowa). Ozark forest, etc. ideas?

I'm unfamiliar with those routes but Ozark Overland Adventures from YouTube shared a really good week long trip through the Ozarks in North AR. Its called the Ozark Overland Adventure Trail (OOAT). You can get it from his videos of that trip, its on Gaia. If your looking for something a little more mild the Ouchitas a bit further South have some really scenic routes that you could easily piece together to make a week trek! Hope that helps.
