Looking for suggestions. RTT and awning

I’m considering the Alucab expedition 3.1 and the 23Zero Kabari hard shell tents. Leaning towards Alucab because of the reviews I’ve read and some first had experience with those I’ve spoken with in person. All seem to love it. Can’t find reviews or many of them on the 23 zero. I’d like to get and mount the 23 zero awning and privacy enclosure (because they are cheaper than Alucab and seem better constructed) HOWEVER the Alucab extends past the sides of my slimline 2 rack. The Alucab awnings mount directly to the tent. Which also isn’t always preferable if I don’t have the tent on but want an awning.

I’ve been told stay brand specific but was wondering if anyone had experience with mounting an Alucab tent and other brand awnings?
