Looking for Dometic 12v plug

My current 12v plug for my CFX3 has been getting chewed up (keeps getting caught in my fridge slide). I’ve found a solution to that problem, but Dometic and every online retailer I’ve checked has been out of stock on spare 12v plugs for MONTHS. Does anyone have a lead on where to find one?

yeah my cable gets caught too and is a little dinged up. my cord is way longer than i need, so if its damaged in just one spot, id just cut and splice it. if you need a whole new cord, the end going into the unit itself should be good for a few inches past the connector, so just cut and splice it into a 12ga extension cord. the 12v cigarette lighter end is easy to find anywhere...autozone, walmart, etc

Just repair the one you have. Cut out the damaged section, split the two wires apart, and crimp or solder the two good sections back together. Strategic use of heat shrink and it'll look and work as good as new. Just make sure you know which wire is which when you split them apart so you splice them back together correctly. Some electrical accessories don't care, others, like LEDs, are particular about polarity.
