I am in the process of planning a trip for a couple of days after the Labor Day weekend when hopefully crowds will start to thin. I am considering a couple of nights in the Coyote Flats area but probably avoiding Funnel Lake from the get go as that seems to be overrun this year. I have noticed an area beyond the Airport and Sanger Meadow area with some nearby hiking trails leading off to Baker and Hidden Lakes. For those that may have ventured in this area are there any comments as to the camping there and also the access to on road 32E301? I am also considering exiting using that road to 32E303 and then out to Sugar Loaf Rd rather than doubling back across the flats. On Gaia these roads don't look any more difficult than Coyote Valley Rd on the way in but I can't tell for sure just looking at the map.
