I just got back from a week of the NMBDR, with a couple friends. We made it from Dell City to Grant,NM. Great trip, but found out the paper map for this is lacking quite a bit. Also, for those planning on this trip, make note that the gas station in Luna< NM is closed so plan accordingly. I drive a heavy Jeep, and never needed the extra 10 gallons I was carrying but ran across a biker that had run out of gas, a ways past Luna. Look forward to doing the last 2 sections backwards next summer on our way home from our yearly trip to Ouray.
