Nice little drive up the scrub today finalising the recon trips for an upcoming trip, this is where the infamous beautiful Betsy lays to rest. We have some awesome places to go on our back doorstep in CQ

Great pictures D40-Ron thanks for sharing. Beautiful betsy is on my bucket list to see unfortunately the downed C47A Dakota at Rewan Station near Rolleston is the closest I've got.

It's worth a look mate. That and you can kill two birds with one stone as it's on the road that takes you into carnarvon national park. Which has one of the most breath taking gorges in all of CQ (my opinion of course). It would be a nice little weekender for you as its only about four and a half hours out of Happystone if I remember correctly.
