Since it was my wife's birthday, we headed to Morro Bay for a really quick over night stay, when I say quick, it was quick. When you have a family of 6, you find the small victories of getting out. We left Friday after work and headed towards Morro Bay, where it was way cooler than 101° in the valley.20180907_124909.jpg
By the time we dropped the kids off, topped off the gas, and headed out, we got to our destination in Morro Bay around 9:00. Even though we stayed at a campsite, I will say, we had the nicest neighbors around us. Their first reaction was...thats a strange set up. In my response, Hey, I'm your strange neighbor. 20180908_072130.jpg
I'm kind of an outcast. I'm to big to camp with the "tent people", but yet I'm not a self contained, full hook up "ttailer camper". Its funny though, those with trailers that cost my yearly income, kept interupting my quick trip with my wife wanting to look at my trailer. 20180907_221554.jpg
I do enjoy talking about my trailer, but like I said, it's a really quick trip with my wife. All those with nicer trailers wished they could take their rigs to areas that weren't easily accessible.20180907_223632.jpg

Check out was at 11:30. My wife realy enjoyed the short getaway. We took our time to break down camp. By 12:00, we were heading back for home leaving the 66° weather only to head toward the 100° valley heat. Sometimes, you HAVE to make time to just get away.
