Anyone have a recommendation for a hoist or pulley system to remove factory hardtop from a JL and a CJ? Looking for real world experience to install on my garage ceiling.

Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance August 4th and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
Right now I am using it to hold the RTT and top to my M416, but use it the same way for the hardtop
Perfect...the kit ones are $399-600...way to much money ...thanks for the idea.
I think I paid about $100 for the hoist. You could mount it to your wall then run cable through a pulley on the ceiling and you would be good to go. I am sure a Harbor freight hoist would work just as well.
