After tons of research, I finally came up with, what I consider, the perfect mounting location for my Yaesu FT-7900. The mount is a behind the seat mount for an ARB dual compressor from 813 Designs. The best part is, I did not have to drill any hole. Now I wait for the antenna and power cables.

Curious why not under the front seat? Seems like it would be easier to run the antenna and power.
