So....I downloaded a few "overlanding GPS" apps to see which I liked best and I'm slightly confused.
Currently, I have MotionX-GPS, Gaia GPS, OKMap, and Megellan TRX downloaded to my iPhone X and I was going to try to use them to navigate home from work to see how they worked, but none of them would give my actual turn by turn directions. Am I missing something? Or are these just for navigating between waypoints?
Is there a better app that I am not seeing that is simpler to use? I assume you have to go online and hook your phone up and actually download routes?
Im totally new to this form of GPS travel so any help would be appreciated.
